Andrew Sparrow
Old Spitalfields Maestro gives us the heads up on what is hot in East London.

It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year – as you’ll well know, we are huge Christmas fans here at Tea Towers, but we’ve got another month at least of cold wet weather, freezing fog and dark mornings to get through until we can break out the tinsel. Never fear though! There is plenty to look forward to this month, and on Episode 15 we discuss all things party party. Awkward socialising, fancy dress, the centre for great events in the East End and of course the all important details for the party of the century (and the fundraising story behind it), Sex & Mugs & Rock ‘n’ Roll! So pick up those winter blues, and join us for an impromptu dance party!

We’ve got:

  • Discussion on the party time of year, and memories of our best and worst event organising experiences
  • Our regular newscaster Simon Button gives us real life examples of his socializing woes
  • An interview with Andrew Sparrow, Commercial Director at Old Spitalfields Market and East End Events Maestro
  • Hummingbird Bakery plays host to our post radio show cake & milkshake review
  • The inspirational Jennifer Begg gives us an update on Janies School, and how you can support it by coming to the party of the year
  • And finally, we are played out by happy go lucky pop indie chap Darren Michelangelo Smith
The HTC gals will also be sharing some secrets and opinions of their own, and bringing bants a plenty!
