I love jewellery, I do, and at university my friend Claire introduced me to Lady Luck Rules Ok, funky jewellery made by Leona. Once LLR closed it’s ‘online’ doors, Leona moved to Thrift-ola and has been using this for the last few years. But a few months back she started the Lucky Dip Club. I missed the first month but have been a happy subscriber for 4 months now.
So what is the Lucky Dip Club?
Using snail mail you get a themed box every month, (they fit perfectly through your letter box) just after payday, to make you smile and make you craft. You can buy one box outright, subscribe, or buy a 6 month subscription. The option to get a box opens every month on the 1st at 7am (and it’s well worth the early morning alarm call). The club has expanded and there are now 600 boxes available every month, but you still have to be super quick – it’s fastest fingers first to get a subscription (and then you can lie-in safe in the knowledge you will get a box!).
So what’s in the box?
Each box has something personalised, for example a pineapple brooch with my name one, a balloon badge saying how much I love Cheetahs (they are amazing!) or an ice cream necklace with my name on. Every box also has something crafty in it to do, last months was a fox eye mask and the previous month was budgie bunting set. Simple yet really fun ideas.
This is an awesome little box of treats, and in this current financial climate everyone needs a treat once a month. It’s £18 for a one off box, or £15 for a subscription – and for the super committed there is a bigger discount for a 6 month subscription at £75. Buy it for yourself, or buy it for your best friend, (a 6 month subscription of joy, the gift that keeps giving)! With the nights drawing in, it’s the perfect thing to keep you occupied under the electric blanket!
So will you join The Lucky Dip Club? And if you are a member what do you think?
