Lea Rice is the siren-haired, stiletto-clad lady journalist who tries (but fails) to hide a deep-rooted Peckham accent for fear of causing offence to delicate earholes. In her short time as a practicing journalist, she’s written for national newspapers and magazines, and gate-crashed Absolute Radio before deciding that digital media is where it’s at. On rare nights off she’ll be downing whiskey and flirting away with the Irish boys in Waxy O’Connors, though an upfront and feisty manner always wins her the title of “honorary guy” on a night out. Oh, and of course dances the odd cheeky burlesque gig under the alias Ruby Woo. Tassels anyone?
